Anderson .Paak celebrated “Juneteenth” by releasing a new song and video called “Lockdown.” The track features the rapper and singer reflecting on the global protests and social unrests that have been happening ever since George Floyd’s murder.
Anderson .Paak raps on the track, which was produced by J.LBS and .Paak himself. The video features appearances from Syd, Jay Rock, Andra Day, Dominic Fike, and more. In the video, we see .Paak and his crew reflecting on a protest they just attended. At the end of the video .Paak announces that his organization, .Paak House, has donated to multiple social justice organizations. Also, the staff that worked on the video donated their salary to Dream Defenders,
