Tyler, the Creator’s music festival Camp Flog Gnaw will not be held in 2022, but plans to return next year.

An article from Billboard explained that Camp Flog Gnaw would be returning in 2023.  Tyler’s manager, Chris Clancy, told Billboard“It’s really not that deep. Tyler toured all year and was busy with a number of projects. Reading the tea leaves and what’s happening with festivals coming out of the pandemic, we thought it would be best to come back next year.”

The Los Angeles-based festival has previously hosted artists including Snoop Dogg, A$AP Rocky, Lana Del Rey, Solange, FKA Twigs, The Internet, Jhene Aiko, Summer Walker, H.E.R., the late Mac Miller and more. Camp Flog Gnaw was last held in 2019 at Dodger Stadium, with performances from 21 Savage, Earl Sweatshirt, Willow, YG and the late Juice WRLD, with Drake also making a surprise appearance at the festival.

The 31-year-old Tyler has been keeping busy — he was on the road over the summer with the Call Me If You Get Lost Tour featuring Kali Uchis, Vince Staples and Teezo Touchdown, and also won his second Best Rap Album Grammy for Call Me If You Get Lost.  He will also have a guest-starring role on season six of Netflix’s animated sitcom Big Mouth, premiering on October 28.
