Travis Scott dropped his new album UTOPIA last month, along with an accompanying film titled “Circus Maximus”. The 75-minute film, originally released in AMC Theaters, is now available to watch on Youtube. The film is directed by Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive, Only God Forgives), Gaspar Noé (Enter the Void, Love), and Valdimar Johannsson (Lamb), and also features most of the songs from the UTOPIA album.
The AMC Theaters website described the film: “Prepare to enter ‘Circus Maximus’ as Travis Scott takes his audience on a mind-bending visual odyssey across the globe, woven together by the speaker rattling sounds of his highly anticipated upcoming album ‘Utopia.’ The film is a surreal and psychedelic journey, uniting a collective of visionary filmmakers from around the world in a kaleidoscopic exploration of human experience and the power of soundscapes.”
