Kid Cudi (real name Scott Mescudi) surprised fans by announcing his engagement to menswear designer Lola Abecassis Sartore in a social media post. Cudi has a 14-year-old daughter, Vada, from a previous relationship.
The 40-year-old singer and rapper shared a carousel of images himself and Sartore on Instagram at the premiere of ‘Knuckles’ this week, along with the caption: “My fiancé Lola and me at the Knuckles premiere. This amazing woman makes me so happy, she is everything to me and I’m so excited to share this news. Life is wild, and right when I felt my future was uncertain, it became crystal clear with Lola. Happy Cud in full effect.” Mescudi responded her fiancé’s comments with: “U have me forever.”
Sartore also announced the big news on her Instagram page, writing. “: “I never thought I could love someone this much! So proud to call you my fiancé Scott. 
I can’t wait for you all to see this amazing man in the new Knuckles show!”
Cudi’s latest television project is based on the ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’ video game series, in which he portrays Agent Mason in the live-action and animated series in the ‘Sonic’ universe. The show premieres April 26 on Paramount+.
