Ozman

Ozman The Wizard was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago (Pill-Hill Area). As a teenager, he played trumpet professionally in a jazz quintet in the Chicago area. At age 21, he decided to give radio a try by enrolling at Kennedy King College, working several different on air shifts with WKKC FM (including Friday Night Audio). Ozman was hired by Crawford Broadcasting/Dontron as a Board Operator for WVJM (the station that would eventually evolve into Power 92) in early 2001. Once Power 92 (WPWX) signed on in spring of 2001, Oz worked as a producer for both afternoon drive and the morning show. “Oz Radio” first hit the airwaves as a weekend show in 2004, and by 2007 “Oz Radio” was the official overnight show for Power 92 (M-F 2AM to 5AM CST). Oz likes to give back to the radio industry, and enjoys helping new radio personalities in the beginning of their careers. In addition to doing radio, Ozman is also an accomplished DJ and host, as well as an actor & writer and has tried MMA as well.
